North Bergen Purr is 100% volunteer-driven, non-profit organization. We do not have a physical shelter location where we hold all of our cats and we do not have a location where you can come to see all of our cats at once. Our cats are all cared for in foster homes from the time they are rescued, until they find their forever homes.

At North Bergen Purr, our dedicated team of volunteers manages our operations alongside of our full-time jobs, so please understand if there's a delay in our response. If you have an urgent situation in Hudson County, please contact our local animal control at 201-295-5070.
